Öhlins USA is looking for a dedicated Service Writer to act as the liaison between our company and our customers.

Responsibilities include ensuring the customer’s service needs are properly met; coordinating transactions between the company and the customer, and performing cost and time estimates for those transactions. Tracking repairs and the causes of problems, scheduling service technicians, and processing the customers’ warranties are key.

To be successful, you should possess excellent customer service and clear communication skills.  You should also be able to translate non-technical descriptions and relate them in a comprehensive and thorough manner to the service technicians.  Understanding the technology of our products and their operation is important.  This is a fast pace, high volume role and the ability to react to events decisively, effectively, and without prior thought or planning is critical.

Requirements:

  • Previous Service Writer experience
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Work experience and technical product knowledge advantageous.
  • High computer literacy and proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel.
  • Strong record keeping and attention to detail skills.

This is a full-time position.  No supervisory requirements.  No travel.  Monday-Thursday 8-5 and Friday 8-4:30.
