As a System Verification Engineer, you’ll take a leading role in validating complex, electronically controlled suspension systems that integrate mechanics, electronics, and software. You’ll design and execute advanced test strategies, analyze system behavior under real-world conditions, and ensure our solutions meet the highest standards of performance, safety, security and reliability. As a System Verification Engineer at Öhlins, you will strengthen our mechatronics group, where your expertise in system verification of embedded systems will be a key part of the team's success. Your main tasks will include developing system test frameworks and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) systems, as well as implementing test cases. There will also be opportunities to participate in the development and maintenance of LabView-based test systems in both test labs and production environments.
Öhlins offers a position where you, together with the team, will work across the entire development chain.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (AMONG OTHER THINGS)
- Developing proprietary system test frameworks in Python for verifying embedded systems
- Developing and managing HIL and SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) environments
- Participating in the verification of customer projects
- Requirements management at system and software level
- Development of verification strategies and methods
The team operates in a well-functioning agile environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
We believe you have the following profile:
- University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar
- At least 3 years of experience in system verification with HIL environments
- Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written, as you will have daily internal and external contacts
NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE IN
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Jenkins CI environments
- Agile work methods
- Python
- Modeling in UML
- Cyber security ISO-21434 and/or Functional safety ISO-26262
- Automotive SPICE
- Structured work using version control systems
