Öhlins is looking for a Marketing Coordinator

Öhlins Racing is a Swedish company with global operations. Since January 2019 Öhlins Racing is a subsidiary of Tenneco. Tenneco is an American enterprise which is one of the leading companies within design, manufacturing and distribution of ride performance products and technologies. Today Öhlins Racing develops and manufactures front forks, shock absorbers and steering dampers for racing and street use for motorcycles, cars and mountain bikes. We are looking to strengthen our marketing communications department with a marketing coordinator with outstanding organizational skills and a strong drive to succeed. In this role you will need to be a creative individual who is able to communicate with several stakeholders throughout the organization all while managing your time well.

You have experience from similar roles and an interest in copywriting writing content, product marketing and the digital realm. You are not only comfortable in a fast paced environment but you prefer it and you have strong problem solving skills, and an attention to detail.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Action based on strategic initiatives and marketing plan
  • Copy writing for web and print
  • Manage global web presence
  • Oversee content creation and suppliers related to SoMe
  • Analysis of web and SoMe on a global basis
  • Involved in global events, launches and campaigns
  • Point of contact with agencies and manage promotional vendors.

Marketing Coordinator Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing/Communications or related (essential).
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Copywriting experience and training.
  • Good knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS), preferably AEM and Product Information Management (PIM).
  • Familiar with all major platforms within social media.
  • Solid organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills, preferably as a native (or equivalent) English speaker, while fluent in Swedish.
  • Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and some knowledge of InDesign.

This position is based at Öhlins headquarters in Upplands Väsby.
