We’re based in the mountains of Hendersonville, NC just outside of Asheville and the Pisgah National Forest. The Auto Segment Sales & Business Development person is responsible for driving revenue, sales strategy, providing field support and selling to dealers/distributors. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of industry experience with strong contacts and history of producing results.

Responsibilities:

  • Build strong dealer and racer relationships to grow Öhlins market share
  • Become an Öhlins product expert and the go to resource for our customers
  • Outstanding communication…Not just via email, but use the phone and talk to people!
  • We have many events and client/prospect opportunities. Plan on 25% travel time.
  • Expect to work very closely with the internal Customer Support team and marketing staff
  • You will develop long-term strategies and can direct what the next steps need to be
  • Meet your budget requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the automotive or motorsports industry
  • Knowledge of the market's sales channels and potential of each
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning background
  • Ability to build relationships and provide technical support as needed
  • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals
  • Team player willing to take on any challenge and support the overall goals of the organization

You need to be well organized and accountable. Understanding your own strategy for our market is critical. We’ll expect you to accurately forecast based on what’s happening today AND what you expect to happen over the next several months and quarters.
