Öhlins Racing AB opened a subsidiary in Meuspath, near Nürburgring, in 2007 for the German market and surrounding territories such as Benelux and UK. Sales, service and repairs of shock absorbers for cars and bikes are handled by Öhlins Distribution & Test Centre (ÖDTC). We also build customised applications as per our customers’ specific requirements.
Due to continued growth we are seeking two new positions at our facility in Germany as Service & Assembly Technician.
A full time position within our well-equipped and clean servicing workshop is necessary to cater for the increasing demand in servicing work. The successful candidate is a person with a technical background, where previous experience of working with suspension is preferred. The areas of servicing work range from race suspension for cars and motorcycles, to our latest mountain bike shocks as supplied to Specialized on their downhill and Enduro bikes.
The technician will report directly to the Workshop Manager and perform servicing and assembly work according to the weekly schedule. The tasks include dismantling of the suspension products, cleaning and preparation, reassembling and replacing worn or damaged items where necessary, then refilling with gas and oil using Öhlins own vacuum filling machine.
Full training will be given from our technical team in Germany.
Please note the position is for a service technician present full time at our facility in Meuspath from Monday to Friday, we are not seeking a race technician to attend race events at this time, although it could be feasible that the opportunity arises in the future.
The location is based at Meuspath in Germany and the successful candidates must be prepared to live in Germany near to ÖDTC. The employment opportunities are permanent.
